Case Layout and Features

The MasterBox Lite 5 is a mid-tower chassis that features a bunch of really shiny pieces. Along the front you’ll find a very angular panel resembling the upgraded panel found on the higher-end MasterCase 5 Pro and the side panel is full height and width.

The back of the case is very traditional with a primary exhaust fan located near the I/O. A total of 7 expansion slots are available with a reversible PSU mounting bracket so you can decide what direction the fan will face.

Front panel controls are very sparse with only two USB ports, two audio ports and buttons for power and reset. This gives the front of the case a very clean look but might be a little light for some folks.

You will find colored trim at the top and bottom of the front bezel. These pieces are replaceable allowing you the option to keep the default hotrod red or swap it for either badass black or wicked white. Also since there are two parts you can mix and match giving you a variety of color options and all you will need is a screwdriver.

At the bottom of the case you’ll find a single cooling vent for the PSU along with a mesh filter to trap excess dust. The feet are simple plastic stand-offs with small rubber pads.

Strangely enough the MasterBox Lite 5 doesn’t come with the patented cable lock panel but does feature a slotted fan mount supporting a variety of different fan configurations provided they are all 120mm.
